Developmental work for Silent Graphic Novel, Orbital Resonance
When one thinks of the eternal struggle of Good and Evil, it is established as natural to represent this in terms of light and dark, white and black, purity and corruption. Orbital Resonance is a graphic novel project that challenges this visual narrative code by reversing the usage of the color Black in to a force for good.
Must the color black always be the easy choice to represent evil?
Orbital Resonance is the journey of The Astronaut, drawn from his world encapsulated by clouds to obtain a glimpse of the beyond. He is transformed into a creature of the void and cast to the world of the Hunter, a land bleached thin by light. Together they will return depth to this world by countering the forces that smother its dark heart and free its denizens from the corrupting influence of the plague of light.
